COMMUNITY MEETINGS

There will be a Town Hall meeting on May 11, 2022 at 8 p.m. in the Clubhouse for the purpose of answering questions about the proposed changes to our community documents you received on May 5.  We will be accepting ballots at this meeting. 

Our June General meeting will be held on June 8 at 8 p.m. in the Clubhouse.

UPDATING OUR DOCUMENTS

On May 5, 2022 you should have received the proposed changes to our community documents.  If you did not, please contact the office.  It is very important that all members of the community review these documents and support these changes by returning your ballot as soon as possible.  Our governing documents need to be updated to reflect the current statutes and laws.

PROPERTY APPRAISER OWNER ALERT

Protect your property from scams or fraudulent transfer of ownership by signing up for Owner Alert on the Broward County Property Appraiser's website.  Click this link https://web.bcpa.net/owneralert to sign up and be notified if any document is received in the BCPA office changing the ownership of your property.

We are always adding items.  If you have something to share, know of someone celebrating a milestone birthday or some other important news, please send it to westwood4boardofdirectors@gmail.com.  And be sure to sign up for the Owner’s Corner where you can find all of our forms to apply for an architectural modification or to rent the Clubhouse, as well as our community rules.

We hope to use the website as our main form of communication in the future.  You’ll be able to find our newsletter there.

Pool

Our pool is open again to residents, their families and friends. The furniture has been returned to the pool deck and the restrooms are open.  Be sure to continue practicing social distancing and wear a mask when appropriate.  We want all our residents to be safe.

 

Speed limit

The speed limit in our community is 25 mph.  Please observe this limit to keep our residents safe.  Many of us walk, ride bikes and walk dogs during the day and night. With the curves of our streets, it's hard sometimes to see someone until you’re almost on top of them. 

 

Pets

Please be courteous and pick up after your dogs.  Besides that it’s a Tamarac Ordinance (signs are posted throughout our community), it’s the right thing to do.  Let’s keep our community beautiful and safe.
